Rio Rancho Movie Theater


Coming to Rio Rancho in the summer of 2011 is a 14 screen all-digital movie theater. The project is aimed at being placed on the corner of Southern and Unser across from Walmart.

The nearly 54,000 sqft, will hold 2,750 seats.
V. Sue Cleveland High School

Rio Rancho Public Schools is nearly complete with the city's latest high school. The new Rio Rancho high school is expected to open doors for students in August of 2009.

The school's athletic has launched offering Cleveland Storm apparel.

UNM West Breaks Ground in Rio Rancho, NM

The University of New Mexico has officially broke ground with phase one of the UNM West campus. Classes are projected to begin in spring of 2010. The campus is expected to welcome as much as 10,000 students.
HP, WELCOME TO NEW MEXICO!

Make way, Hewlett Packard is on it's way to Rio Rancho, New Mexico. HP's presence in Rio Rancho is expected to generate 1,300 jobs for the city. The EDD (Economic Development Department) estimates that most of the jobs will pay $45,000+.

The HP Center plans to open doors in 2009 with 300-400 employees and be at 1,300+ employees by 2012.

Update: HP broke ground today on their new facility in Rio Rancho, Wednesday, January 7, 2009. By this time next year, construction is expected to be complete.

Presbyterian Hospital

Presbyterian Health Care Services broke ground in August 2008. The $200 million facility will house approximately 120 beds and produce over 600 jobs.

Update: The 340,000 sqft project is now back underway with a projected opening in October 2011.
